“It's so beautiful, it's hard to believe that these little pieces of tape could make something like this.” –Kagan children

This year, the Draw On! celebration will become a part of the lives of 25 families!  The Aldrich is inviting Ridgefield residents to support Draw On! by sponsoring Tape Art artists Michael Townsend and Colin Bliss to create a temporary tape drawing on a wall in their homes.

Families can also sponsor Tape Art to make a tape drawing at a local school or business.  We ask that you obtain permission and make arrangements directly with each site in advance.

On April 4, families will take the drawings off the wall, create a tape ball from the remains, and bring the ball of tape to The Aldrich.  Tape balls will be displayed along with a photo of each Tape Art drawing in a small exhibition that will be on view for everyone to see, from April 6 to 10.  Following the exhibition, families will receive the photo and the tape ball to keep.
