Aldrich Experiences Auction

Relax, Mon!

Back to Aldrich Experience homepage

A deep blue ocean, cloudless skies, warmth seeping into your winter-weary bones . . . as you enjoy your week-long Jamaican vacation.  Experience seven days of luxury in a private villa in Montego Bay, with a full staff to cater to your every need.  Take some special friends along—the house sleeps ten or twelve guests.

This is your opportunity to laze in a hammock by the sea while you catch up on reading your Aldrich catalogues.  Or perhaps the vibrant hues of the Caribbean will tempt you to pick up a paintbrush to try to capture the tropical riot of color on paper, or to grab your camera to capture a perfect hibiscus bloom.  When meal time rolls around, the mouth-watering aroma of jerk chicken will await the perfect complement, a Red Stripe beer.

But that's not all—one day you will take a break from relaxation to enjoy a tour of the National Gallery of Jamaica in Kingston with its executive director, Dr. Jonathan Greenland.  Founded in 1974, the Gallery charts the growth and development of Jamaica's greatest artistic endeavors, from Taino Indian artifacts to Spanish and English colonial art, from the early pioneers to the very latest contemporary works by Jamaican artists.

(Transportation costs to and from and within Jamaica, and cost of meals, are not included in this Experience.  Meal plan at the villa is usually $250 per day, not including alcohol.  Lobster every night is extra!  Villa available May 15 to November 15, with the date to be mutually agreed upon with the owner.)
