The Aldrich is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibition

Paying a Visit to Mary: 2008 Hall Curatorial Fellowship Exhibition
January 31 to June 6, 2010
Paying a Visit to Mary comprises work by both emerging and more established artists in a broad range of media, including performance, film, painting, sculpture, and installation. Exploring a significant subject in current artistic practice, personal narrative and contemporary storytelling, the exhibition is constructed as a “call and response” between different voices. The exhibition, which has been organized by the second recipient of the Hall Curatorial Fellowship, Canadian curator Maxine Kopsa, a resident of the Netherlands, forms a romantic, conceptual, and highly specific story of our time and our present human condition.

Exhibition Opening
Sunday, January 31, 2010
Join us at the reception; explore the work on view; meet the artists; and watch a live performance of IGLU, a play by Guy de Cointet & Robert Wilhite
