Graphic Design and Production Intern
Summer 2012
Applications will be accepted until 5 pm on April 4, 2012.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Focus will be on updating past exhibition information on our site, as well as updating and organizing physical and digital design file archives
- Assist with some overflow print work
- Interface with other departments to collect materials for design projects, such as copy, images, captions, and logos
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CS5 (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver) and a firm knowledge of HTML is required
- Strong sense of design and excellent typography skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt to changes in priorities
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and heavy workload
- Flexibility in scheduling for events and heavy production times
- It is important that the candidate be comfortable adhering to an established corporate identity system, but also willing to propose ingenious adaptations
- Available 2 to 3 days/20 hours per week
