- Two admission passes to The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum (http://www.aldrichart.org/), renowned as a national leader for its presentation of outstanding new art. The Museum, a short walk from the Inn, has a Sculpture Garden perfect for a picnic lunch (lunch not included in package). Free docent tours offered Sunday afternoons. Open Tuesday to Sunday, noon to 5 pm.
- The opportunity to paint en plein air at Weir Farm National Historic Site in Wilton and Ridgefield (www.nps.gov/wefa), a ten minute drive away. Connecticut’s only National Park Service site preserves the home and studios of three generations of artists, including J. Alden Weir, and the landscape that inspired their work. Paint Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 pm, through October (free art supplies on loan to visitors). Visitor Center open Wednesday to Sunday, 9 am to 5 pm, for programs and tours. Grounds open daily dawn to dusk.
- Two admission passes to the Keeler Tavern Museum (www.keelertavernmuseum.org), built in 1713, in Ridgefield. Costumed guides lead tours through period rooms reflecting life in rural Connecticut from the 18th to 20th centuries. Open Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4 pm.
