DRAW ON! GOES GREEN A Community Drawing Festival Presented by The Aldrich
In 2014, The Aldrich will celebrate Draw On! Goes Green with two weeks of programming inspired by sustainability, recycling, and green art-making. Adults, children, and teachers will work with DO!GG’s artist-in-resident Tim Gaudreau, artist and educator Molly Smith, and Woodcock Nature Center educators to up-cycle, innovate, and create with recycled materials. DO!GG will also offer engaging performances and lectures to promote “going green” in the community.
Draw On! Goes Green is presented in partnership with the Connecticut Art Trail, Ridgefield Arts Council, Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce, Ridgefield Education Foundation, and Woodcock Nature Center.
Draw On! Goes Green is supported, in part, by the Department of Economic and Community Development, Connecticut Office of the Arts, which also receives support from the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency. Major support for Museum operations has been provided by members of The Aldrich Board of Trustees and by the Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Foundation.
